Prominent Brands: Kaemi

Style and sell hand-picked thrifted/vintage goods to help promote sustainable clothing practices.

Kaemi was founded in 2015 by Jami Ordiz and Kaile Teramoto, two stylists from San Francisco with a keen eye for vintage clothing and promoting sustainable fashion.

Currently, there are two people running KAEMI and producing its finished products.

KAEMI prevents garments from ending up in landfill by curating vintage clothing and adding their own touch to it through cutting, sewing, patch work, screen printing, and more.

KAEMI does not produce clothing from raw material or subcomponents but rather upcycles already finished clothing. To date, there is no data around where they obtain their pieces to work.
